5. Who receives your data
We share personal data only with service providers that process it for us under a written agreement, and only as much as they need:
- Google Cloud / Firebase (Google Ireland Ltd. and Google LLC): website hosting, server functions, database, file storage, portal sign-in, and Google Analytics (with consent).
- Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France): delivery of the emails that our forms send to our team, and of marketing emails if you opted in.
If you contact us on LinkedIn or WhatsApp, those services process the data under their own privacy policies. We may also disclose data if the law or a competent authority requires it, or to protect our legal rights. If Softech merges with or is sold to another company, data may pass to the new owner, who will be bound by this policy.
6. Transfers outside Israel
Our service providers may store data in the European Union, the United States or other countries. We transfer data from Israel only as the Privacy Protection (Transfer of Data to Databases Abroad) Regulations, 5761-2001 permit. For data subject to the GDPR, transfers to countries without an adequacy decision are protected by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
7. How long we keep data
- Enquiries and calculator requests: up to 3 years after our last contact with you, unless they lead to a contract. The same applies to registrations for our LinkedIn follower offer, which ended in October 2026.
- Job applications and CVs: up to 2 years after we receive them, then deleted. Tell us if you want us to delete yours sooner.
- Customer and portal data: for the term of the contract, and after that for up to 7 years where we must keep records for tax, accounting or legal reasons.
- Google Analytics data: 14 months.
- Record of marketing consent: for as long as you receive marketing emails, and up to 3 years after you withdraw consent, as proof of consent.
8. Your rights
Under the Israeli Privacy Protection Law you have the right to:
- see the data we hold about you (section 13);
- ask us to correct or delete data that is wrong, incomplete, unclear or out of date (section 14);
- ask us to remove you from any list used for direct mailing (section 17F).
If the GDPR applies to you (for example, you are in the EU or the UK), you also have the right to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that took place before it.
To use any of these rights, write to info@softech.llc. We may ask you to confirm your identity. We answer within 30 days.
You can also complain to the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority (gov.il) or, if the GDPR applies, to the data protection authority in your country.
9. Security
We protect personal data with technical and organisational measures that follow the Israeli Privacy Protection (Data Security) Regulations, 5777-2017. These include encrypted connections (HTTPS), access only for staff who need it, access control on our cloud systems, and secure management of keys and passwords. No system is fully secure. If a serious security incident affects your data, we will act and notify as the law requires.
10. Children
The Site is for businesses and job applicants. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
